I've decided that for the recording, I'm going to use two things. I'm going to use Sonar to build the tracks and record them, then I'm going to load the tracks into Sound Forge or some other editor for editing. I want Sound Forge because of it's accessibility. Here's my question. Is there somewhere I can get Sound Forge for about 100 to 200 dollars? If there isn't one, what's a good and cheap sound editor?
Yes, you can get a certain version of Sound Forge for less than 100 dollars, I believe it's about 70. I think the link is like http://sonypictures ... something ... oh blah ... I can't remember. But I'll get my friend Doodgeman, who bought it from here, to come in and have a look. If he hasn't by the time you see him, just private message him, his username's Doodgeman on ehre, and I think he can give you the URL. Hope this helps. Caitlin
Had a word with Doodgeman and it turns out the Sound Forge he has isn't the big deal full blown sound forge, but it still works fo editing and all that, and I think it would work for your purposes, RM. So if you still want the URL post here and I'll call Derek in.
